First 3 Years Podcast with Chardét Ryel: A Conversation I’ll Never Forget

I recently had the absolute honour of joining Chardét Ryel on her incredible podcast, First 3 Years. If you’ve ever listened to Chardét speak, you’ll know she has a rare gift: she creates space. Space for honesty, space for vulnerability and space for women founders to share the real stories behind their brands, the messy middles, the triumphs, the heartbreak and the quiet moments of courage that so often go unseen.

From the moment we began recording, I felt completely held. Chardét is a true empath and her passion for supporting women-led brands shines through in every thoughtful question, every gentle nudge and every moment she encourages you to dig just a little deeper. Being invited onto her platform felt like such a privilege and an experience that I will carry with me for a very long time.

During our conversation, I had the opportunity to share the heart of Blue Bear & Co; our story, my motivation and the mission that continues to guide everything we do. We talked about grief, legacy, creativity and the incredible community that has gathered around this brand, something that still leaves me feeling both humbled and energised.

It was empowering to look back on how far this journey has come. Five years ago, I could never have imagined standing where I am today. I couldn’t have envisioned the bears, the books, the families we would reach, or the connections that would blossom from something born out of such deep love.

To sit with Chardét and reflect on that felt emotional, grounding and above all, a reminder of just how powerful purpose can be.

I left the conversation feeling proud, proud of the story we are building, proud of the resilience that brought me here and proud of the way Blue Bear & Co continues to grow with heartfelt intention.

Most of all, I felt deeply grateful. Grateful to Chardét for creating such a safe, thoughtful space. Grateful to the remarkable women founders who inspire me daily. And grateful to every single person who continues to walk alongside me on this journey, supporting, believing, sharing and cheering us on.

If you’d like to listen to the episode, you can hit the link below or find it on the First 3 Years Podcast. I hope it gives you an even deeper glimpse into the ‘why’ behind Blue Bear & Co. and the heart that keeps it moving forward.

Here’s to the next chapter and to all the women carving their own path, messy, beautiful, brave and true.
